Microwave Links
Millimeter Microwave links use the extremely high frequency (EHF) radio frequency band. The frequencies range from 30 to 300 gigahertz and the band has a wavelength of ten to one millimeter, hence the name millimeter wave (sometimes abbreviated to MMW).
Unlike Microwave links, that are well known for their licensing issues and costs, Milliwave links are extremely cost effective and only incur a minimal one off license fee to Ofcom (Office of Communications).
