Microwave Links
Millimeter Microwave links use the extremely high frequency (EHF) radio frequency band. The frequencies range from 30 to 300 gigahertz and the band has a wavelength of ten to one millimeter, hence the name millimeter wave (sometimes abbreviated to MMW).
Unlike Microwave links, that are well known for their licensing issues and costs, Milliwave links are extremely cost effective and only incur a minimal one off license fee to Ofcom (Office of Communications).(learn more)

Ofcom National Licence
The licence for the 70/80GHz band is a non-exclusive national licence which authorises licensees to register point to point fixed wireless links in the UK through an application process administered by Ofcom (Office of Communication). The licence fee is £50 per annum which includes the charge for registration of the first link for the first year of the licence. As part of G4 Networks complete solution we can take care of the application process and renewal on your behalf as part of the maintenance and service package.
